Self portrait.

Seen on my Flickr home page. (?)
trying to figure out how you lit this, can’t be the monitor. One shot or two joined? …or light to the camera left behind you a little and you desaturated your face? Great idea, looks cool – the light works well, does look like monitor light.
Thanks I hand held the strobe below my face and out a bit and did a B&W layer in photoshop to do the selective color thing. I don’t usually do selective color but I joined a group for it yesterday and thought I would give it a go.
Cool shot, and I like the selective coloring. I’ve just started experimenting with that myself.
Thank you for sharing with Clan flickr
Nice one — just the right light — would have been nicer if you had been on my page though —- mwahhhhhahaha
quite right have a fab day

This is a great picture. I struggle with self portraits. It’s an area I really want to improve upon. I not only like the way you composed the shot, but the way it is lit is incredible. Keep up the great work!
Ron — thanks for your comments I really appreciate it. For this photo I used one strobe below my face at about 1/128th power (maybe 1/64 — can’t remember).
great shot… interesting.
I love the selective color
Hey Jeff – Great Pic!! Small world. I will have to keep dialed into your page. I love photography – but don't have the time for now. Someday.
