Day 151 of 365 – Moon
I have been trying to get this shot for a while now. I took another shot with my 70-200 back around the first of the month but I wanted to try it with the 2x teleconverter. I took a full moon shot with the teleconverter but I found out through that exercise that the moon, photographically, is quite boring during the full moon. So this is the moon at about half or so, maybe a tad more, and the teleconver. I like the results but I think I still prefer the shot without the teleconverter. Even though it is a really tight crop. What do you think?

when looking at the square thumbnail in my main page all you see is black with a bit of gray on the very right side…
thought to myself, now this should be something interesting!
I think it’s pretty good! better than anything I’ve done with the moon!
Both shots are great. I do agree though that I like the one with out the teleconverter just a bit more.

Prefer this to my last effort, mine is burnt out on the leading edge. ISO 400
More experimentation for me.

looks great full size… deffo the best phase for a photo.
