Day 178 of 365 – Never Grow Up
Today is my youngest son, Trevor, birthday. We had a family party for him today. He received some ‘ammunition’ for this toy gun as a gift. Well it didn’t take long for my Brother, Brian, and I to begin playing. Our goal was to capture one of the flying nerf ‘bullets’ mid air. Took about 20 tries (man we are weak hah) but we finally got it. I guess we will never grow up. Trevor has a party with his friends tomorrow. I will try to post a photo of that for tomorrow’s photo of the day.

Nerf guns are always a huge hit for the adults at our parties….seriously, my brothers are crazy and my nephew manages to get nerf guns for Christmas and his birthday and well lets just say it gets pretty insane!
Fun action shot!

Happy Birthday Trevor hope it’s a great one and remember this photo… a good life lesson… always be a kid at heart!
didn’t your mom ever tell you not to point those things at anyone
I love the way the hands are — as if this is some police special
Never grow up is great advice
Lots of fun. Nice shot
…next shot in series, ‘bullet’ stuck on forehead
Thanks everyone.
@fleabo — you know that isn’t far from the truth. The first shot, before my brother took over the shooting from my son, hit smack on my flash (I was bouncing off the ceiling) and stuck to it. We had a good laugh. No camera equipment was harmed in the making of these photographs.
I never want to grow up too….. Very creative and a excellent shot !!
One shot !!!
Happy birthday, Trevor.
Bang-arang…. sorry title reminded me of Peter Pan… nice shot and good admonishment…
Thanks for all of the comments

LOL!! I love Fleabo’s comment – bullet stuck on head would be hilarious
I can imagine that this would have been really fun to setup and take shots of.
