Moving Day (b&w)
I showed today’s photo of the day to my wife and she suggested that it would probably look good in b&w. After seeing it in b&w I have to agree this version is a lot better.

Day 212 of 365 – Moving Day
Today was moving day at my job. I work for a big company and they decided to do a re-stack, which is basically moving all the cubes around. In order to keep people out of the way they ask most people not to come in on moving day and work from home. I needed to come in anyway, to turn on some computers. This parking lot usually has a lot more cars 
I thought it was interesting to see it empty like this. Yah I know your not ‘supposed’ to blow out the whites like this but I’m calling it artistic license because the the stuff outside the ‘windows’ is distracting anyways.
Day 211 of 365 – Canon G10
I bought this camera, ostensibly for my wife, some time ago. She would be happy with any point and shoot that lets her push the button and it takes a reasonably sharp image. I got this one for ‘her’ so that I could have fun with it too . That said I have hardly used it. To the point that I don’t even know how to use the advanced features.
Thinking about that made me decide to commit to using her camera at least once a week for my photo a day project. That way I will learn how to use it. The photo a day project I am working on has really made me pretty comfortable with my DSLR and I am thinking it can help do the same with this advanced point and shoot.

Day 209 of 365 – Heavy Equipment
Just playing with flashes and gels again today. I liked how this looked with the reflections and shadows.

Day 208 of 365 – Fresh From The Garden
My father in-law grows tomatoes, I eat them 
(And occasionally photograph them I guess)
Day 207 of 365 – Crayons
I’ve seen similar shots and like them. I think mine turned out OK but I will probably try it again at some point with some different colors.
Day 206 of 365 – The Reader
My Nephew, Justuss, has loved to read since he could. I snapped this of him at one of his brother’s birthday party today and thought I would make it my photo of the day. He is looking down here reading something and I thought that it really captured a lot of what this quiet boy was all about.
Day 205 of 365 – Connections
Really crummy snap today…. sorry my viewers. I came home to an air conditioner that was broken and my wife’s car stalled and wouldn’t start on the highway. So I am not feeling very creative this evening. But posting a quick snap to stay on my 365 track
