Day 209 of 365 – Heavy Equipment
Just playing with flashes and gels again today. I liked how this looked with the reflections and shadows.
Lighting: 580exii Camera Left, Vivitar 285hv Camera Right gelled Red (flagged on left side of flash). Glossy printer paper as surface.

I used a glossy 13×19 piece of photo paper as the backdrop (to give the reflection) and put the toy on it. I have two flashes, triggered wirelessly with cybersync (I love these things!) triggers. On one I light the subject (camera left) and the other (camera right) I lit the background. I used a red gel on that one to give the background the color. Hope that helps.
