Day 325 of 365 – Shawna

Camera Model: Canon EOS 40D
Exposure: 0.004 sec (1/250)
Aperture: f/8.0
Focal Length: 55 mm
ISO: 400
We had an early thanksgiving with my parents, siblings and their children today. This is a shot of my sister, Shawna, that she agreed to sit for before we left.
Lighting:
580EXII Camera right (I can’t remember the power on this one)
Vivitar 285hv Behind and camera Right that really didn’t do much for the exposure.
Triggered with Cybersync
Edit:
Sharpened Eyes a lot to make them POP in photoshop.
Applied Nik Color Efex Glamour Glow effect.
Nik Viveza to pull down the brightness on the stairs.

She’s so cute
She looks like she is a bit skeptical about the whole portrait thing, but she must love the result. Beautiful portrait, great eyes!
Nice shot and definitely Not Trevor..

nice work Jeff. She’s a natural! The light is good, colours work well. DoF is just right for this angle.
great portrait… she’s got your eyes.
beautiful portrait Jeff
Thank you all
@Irene — well she made it her facebook profile picture; but her comment was I don’t hate it LOL so I think she liked it ok. I don’t think she likes many photos of herself though so I am not going to take that personally
Lovely portrait, Jeff. Looks like those eyes run in the family. Nicely done!
Great portrait, my Sister hates her picture taken as well. I am going to try over the holiday to get her to let me do one!
I think you did this really well, especially her eyes and also the pose.
