Well… WOW! Today marks the end of my 365 project for 2009.
Let’s get the bragging (er stats) out of the way first:
Days Photograph was taken: 365
Days Photograph was posted: 365
Days Missing: 0
When I started this project I thought, probably like most people, this can’t be that tough. I mean you click the shutter and upload the image. And true, it isn’t tough in that regard. What is tough is trying to be creative on a regular basis and produce something other than a snapshot daily. I can’t say I was successful in doing that 365 days but I think I was successful in doing it quite a bit more than I wasn’t.
I have to thank so many people for their support during this project. First is my family. Especially my son, who modeled patiently and sometimes a little less than patiently but still stood there
. My wife who put up with my photography gear spread out on the kitchen table night after night and the photography gear that has taken up permanent residence in a corner of our living room.
Next is the Flickr Photo A Day 2009 group and the ClanFlickr group. Both of these groups are full of great people. Before this year I had really no contacts on Flickr and hadn’t really used flickr much. I have met nearly all of my contacts through these groups and have really grown to love the community on flickr. Your comments and visits to my stream have been so encouraging and have really motivated me to keep going with this project.
Don’t tune out just yet if you are following me on Flickr, My Blog, Twitter or Facebook
. Next year, though less structured, I hope to produce just as much content and continue to learn and grow with my passion of photography. I hope that you will stick around with me. I am also looking forward to the things that my contacts have planned for next year. It promises to be very exciting and fun.
Happy New Year everyone may 2010 be full of everything good for you. And Keep on Clicking
