It seems, as obscure as it is, Bean Day is not without it’s controversy. Some say Bean Day is not until April, Some claim it to be January 6th. But at least one source has it squarely on the 5th. So as I move down the road with my This Day in History/Calendar Event project it seemed appropriate to bring to your attention the celebration of Bean Day. Now Go eat your vegtables!

Normally I would say yum cuz its food >.> but i so don’t like green beans! Maybe for Bean day I can give them away. Just think of it this way in April you can have bean day again!
Nice shot! I actually ate some green beans with supper tonight! So, did you shoot this at home or is this a shot in some grocery store aisle? I’d love to see you in a WalMart setting up lights and gear to pull this one off!

I am falling down on my job here. I promise when this week is over and my coworker is back and I have more time at work to fanny about I will get on the calendar thing. I wish I had known it was bean day though. I had everything But beans today.. I will make up for it tomorrow by consuming plenty of the musical fruit, the more you eat, the more you toot – as my dad would say.
