This is the look I got when I pulled my camera out this morning. Eyes peeking over the laptop just warning me that photography, at least with him as the subject, would not be tolerated today. Little did he know I already had my shot!

For Macro Mondays Flickr Group 4/19/2010 – Theme Life Is Hard

Struggled with an idea for this theme; but since it is the first Monday since I have returned to flickr I wanted to particpate so I persevered . I actually kind of like how this turned out.

This is just a silly little thing Trevor and I made together. He had fun holding and pouring the syrup while I kept trying to get some cool details in it. I really liked the specks of light in the drops coming off of the bottom of the spout (noted if you click through to flickr).

My main self critique on this shot is that it would have been better with a bit of backlighting to separate the stream of syrup from the background. Maybe I will try again soon and do that.
